Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial Action
Erythromycin works by binding to the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting protein synthesis. It is effective against many Gram-positive organisms, certain Gram-negatives, mycoplasma, chlamydia, and select anaerobes.Treats a Wide Range of Infections Indicated for upper and lower respiratory infections (e.g. sinusitis, bronchitis, atypical pneumonia), skin and soft tissue infections, ear and eye infections, gastrointestinal infections (e.g. staphylococcal enterocolitis, cholera), and certain sexually transmitted diseases. Also used in prophylaxis before surgery, burns, or rheumatic fever.

Flexible Dosing Options
